[Set.up.for.failure]



















Reading a couple quotes latley that have made me think

"It is better to know and be disappointed, then to never know and wonder"

This, I agree with. But what I do fnd a very interesting human trait is how we always think we know what we want, think we know what we need - but with our lives as our track records, how many times have we wished and hoped and prayed and manipulated until we got exactly what we "thought" we wanted, only to wish we had realy gotten something else.

Maybe we need to kybosh the idea of preconceived notions. We need to go into situations with an open mind - sounds easy, but not at all- We hold so many judgements, snap judgements, built off of past experiences, thoughts, feelings - but really, how man times do these preconcieved notions turn out to help us, not hinder us?
