[Set.up.for.failure]

Reading a couple quotes latley that have made me think
"It is better to know and be disappointed, then to never know and wonder"
This, I agree with. But what I do fnd a very interesting human trait is how we always think we know what we want, think we know what we need - but with our lives as our track records, how many times have we wished and hoped and prayed and manipulated until we got exactly what we "thought" we wanted, only to wish we had realy gotten something else.
Maybe we need to kybosh the idea of preconceived notions. We need to go into situations with an open mind - sounds easy, but not at all- We hold so many judgements, snap judgements, built off of past experiences, thoughts, feelings - but really, how man times do these preconcieved notions turn out to help us, not hinder us?
...Saturday food for thought...

Art is in the details of every little thing we do. Our lives playing before us on full reel - what we choose, how we choose it. Every action is a message we send out into the world about ourselves. Generally I would like to think I'm pretty well versed on this topic, however, as of late, I think I need a bit of a refersher.
