Marilyn Monroe has some wonderful quotes. The above being one of them that I adore and I believe rings true for many, many women.

With a Little Simplicity

Oh to be organized! Something I am painfully anal about, which is I guess why I am constantly in a sate of un organization. To me, if it can't be 110% then it cannot be at all! And thus, the cluster of "things" I live among. This weekend I worked very hard to simplify my space(along with the help of my quit witted sister) which really did help the time pass. I tossed and debated, and tossed and debated some more. I am still on the road to simplicity, however one step closer than before.

Genius from the Dark Side of the Moon

I'm beyond thrilled to be able to post these images on my blog. Ssspeech is a jewellery line by hardware genius, Torontonian and dear friend, Micheal Mercanti. His line has been featured in numerous magazines from Elle Canada to Nylon. These images are from the website FashionGoneRouge, a site which I frequent for happenings, hot lists and blog post inspirations. It comes as no surprise that his creative, and often dark hardware style has struck a chord with trendsetters in Toronto. Fingers crossed that I will be wearing his acid coral piece on my upcoming trip to LA!

One Less Beautiful Mind

Such a tragedy. Alexander McQueen, a brilliant, creative mind and one beautiful soul was lost today. He gave us the opportunity to push the envelope with what we wear and how we adorn our bodies. McQueen early on declared himself some what of a loner growing up, the "pink sheep" of his family. However, I believe most of our worlds brilliant minds feel alone in the world, or have at one point or another.
One less beautiful mind. What a shame...
